This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for Toolbelt Websites services. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.
2. Monthly website packages
Our website packages are monthly subscription services. They may include website design, build, hosting, maintenance, support, updates, local SEO setup and related services.
3. Minimum term
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, our managed website packages have a 12-month minimum term.
During the minimum term, you are responsible for all monthly payments due under your selected package.
4. Cancellation after the minimum term
After the minimum term, you may cancel your subscription by giving 30 days' written notice.
Your subscription will remain active until the end of the notice period and any outstanding amounts remain payable.
5. Cancellation during the minimum term
If you cancel during the minimum term, the remaining balance for the minimum term may become payable.
We may agree a different arrangement at our discretion, but we are not required to do so.
6. Cooling-off rights
Our services are usually business-to-business services supplied to tradespeople, sole traders, partnerships and companies. Business purchases may not have the same cancellation rights as consumer purchases.
If you purchase as a consumer and a 14-day cooling-off right applies, you may still need to pay for work completed before cancellation if you asked us to begin work immediately. If the service is fully performed during the cooling-off period with your agreement, you may lose the right to cancel.
7. Refunds
Monthly subscription payments are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started.
One-off setup fees, design fees, domain fees, copywriting fees, advertising setup fees, migration fees and other one-off service fees are generally non-refundable once work has started.
We may consider a refund if we have failed to provide the agreed service, you have reported the issue to us, we have had a reasonable opportunity to fix it, and the issue is within our reasonable control.
8. No refunds for customer delays or change of mind
Refunds will not usually be given where delays or issues are caused by missing information, late feedback, failure to approve content, failure to provide access details, domain or hosting issues outside our control, third-party platform issues, a change of mind, a decision not to use the website after work has started, or cancellation during the minimum term.
9. Failed payments
If a payment fails, we may pause work, suspend support, restrict access or suspend hosting until payment is resolved. You remain responsible for outstanding payments.
10. Website transfer after cancellation
If you cancel after completing the minimum term and all payments are up to date, we may provide a website backup or export where technically possible.
Some features, licences, plugins, integrations, forms, hosting settings or third-party services may not transfer fully. We are not responsible for installing, configuring, fixing, maintaining or supporting the website after transfer unless agreed separately.
11. How to cancel
